Themes
Eleven color themes for the terminal and side panel, from pitch black through to a light mode.
Available Themes
Subslot Dark (Default)
Near-black background with green accents — the signature Subslot look. Best for OLED monitors and dark rooms, with the highest contrast for the green accent elements.
Dim
A slightly elevated dark with muted, desaturated tones. Easier on the eyes for extended sessions and a good fit if the default feels too harsh.
Midnight Blue
Deep navy with cool blue undertones for a calm, focused atmosphere. Popular for late-night trading.
Solarized
A warm, balanced palette inspired by the Solarized color scheme — teal-leaning greens with warm text, tuned for readability across lighting conditions.
High Contrast
Pure-black background with bright text and vivid accents. Maximum readability for bright monitors, sunlit rooms, or vision concerns — every element stands out sharply.
Nord
A cool, arctic-inspired dark palette with icy blue accents. Low-glare and even-toned.
Dracula
A dark violet-grey base with purple accents — a familiar look for anyone who runs the Dracula scheme elsewhere.
Mocha
A soft, low-contrast dark base with pastel accents. Warmer and gentler than the default for long sessions.
Light
A bright, clean interface with dark text, for light-mode users or well-lit rooms. Green accents are adjusted for contrast on light backgrounds.
Paper
A warm, off-white light mode. Softer than pure white and easy on the eyes in daylight.
Frost
A cool, blue-tinted light mode — crisp and clean for bright environments.
How to Switch Themes
- Open Settings.
- Find the Appearance section — the current theme name is shown.
- Tap to expand. The color swatches appear.
- Tap any swatch to apply immediately — no save button needed.
- The theme persists across side-panel closes, browser restarts, and extension updates.
Theme-Aware Components
The theme system uses CSS custom properties, so every element adapts automatically:
- All side-panel UI, buttons, cards, and text
- Chart embeds — light themes (Light, Paper, Frost) switch the chart to its light variant
- PnL cards and shareable images
